Spring 2021 One Room Challenge Progress

The One Room Challenge has been in full swing for the past 6 weeks, and the 20 Featured Designers along with the hundreds of guest designers have had their hands deep in these projects. From full-room demolitions to more simply DIY constructions, these projects have something of interest to anyone watching. With just four short weeks left to finish up their projects, let’s take a look at the designers we have partnered with this season and their progress so far.

At Home With Ashley

Talking about a full room demolition, Ashley has been hard at work completely tearing out the old walls, ceiling, and even demolishing the wall that blocked off her signature colorful staircase! This week, she was able to install Shiplap from Empire onto her ceiling.

In the next few weeks, Ashely will be installing some balusters and other stair parts from L.J. Smith, along with installing some unique Ornaments from Ornamental Moulding onto a custom fireplace for her kitchen.

This Is Simplicite

Following her very recent DIY Fluted Accent Wall project, Mansa has stayed very busy with her One Room Challenge. Taking on her bedroom, Mansa installed our Sawtooth Crown Moulding this week and painted it gray to give it a beautiful contrast. With her room already nearing completion, Mansa is killing this challenge.

Haneen’s Haven

Haneen has been hard at work tackling her bathroom, and it is really starting to show. Beginning this challenge with a very in-depth and beautiful mood board, that image is starting to show through in her weekly updates. In her last update, we are able to see Ornamental’s Ambrosia Maple Beams peak through in one of her photos. She also mentions receiving Ornamental’s Corbels that she will be using to accent her wall. We are so excited to see how this project turns out.
