3 DIY Projects Using Sleek Hairpin Legs

Are you in need of a simple yet modern side table? What about a plant stand? Or maybe an affordable desk for your work from home needs? All of these projects are not only accomplishable with Ornamental’s hairpin legs, they are easy enough for anyone to do on a slow Saturday morning.

Entryway Table

Recently, our partners Clark and Aldine utilized our new hairpin legs (28” and 16”) to create a beautiful teak entryway table. And the best part - they created this table all by themselves using just four materials. They used a 1” x 16” x 36” teak panel and 28” hairpin legs for this table, along with 1” screws (cabinet screws are ideal) and a drill.

Plant Stand

Even more good news, building a plant stand with these legs is just as easy. For this plant stand, Clark and Aldine used a 1” x 15” circle teak panel with 16” hairpin legs. Once you decide on the type of table you want to build, it’s time to get to it. Follow the same steps as the entryway table to accomplish this modern and sleek plant stand for your home.

Dining Table

Looking for a more unique build? Try mixing our hairpin legs with beautiful live edge pieces. This piece will create the perfect accent in your dining room that will differentiate it from every other simple dining room. Clark and Aldine accomplished this unique look using the same 28” hairpin legs as the entryway table, along with a solid live edge panel.
